3rd Annual Radio Exposition - Grand Central Palace - 1924


The third annual National Radio Exposition took place from the 3rd to 9th November 1924 at Grand Central Palace on Lexington Avenue in Midtown Manhattan, New York City.

The radio exposition was opened by Guglielmo Marconi and must have been a spectacular event which included "two miles of exhibits", an international broadcasting demonstration, the "joining together" of WJZ (New York), WRC (Washington) and WGY (Schenectady), a "race against time" of two radio telegraphic signals. A huge dance floor was also provided for a "frolic" event on the 4th November :
